INTRODUCTION
Been primarily concerned with allowing my work to be seen as if in a gallery space, a color theme of white and minimalism were main priorities to achieve in the website design. A central theme has begun to appear through out my work with layout and trying to keep this consistency is important.
Through the influence of Sir Kennith Clark and his comments on symmetry the layout should persist in a symmetrical, proportionate arrangement, as the drawings and imagery produced is what holds movement and ‘chaos’.

Symmetry is a human concept because with all our oddities we are more or less symmetrical. And the balance of a mantelpiece by Adam or a phrase by Mozart reflects our satisfaction with our two eyes, two arms, two legs and so forth. And consistency, again and again in this series I’ve used that word as a term of praise, but enclosed, that’s the trouble. An enclosed world becomes a prison of the spirit. One longs to get out, one longs to move, one realises the symmetry and consistency, whatever their merits, are the enemies of movement.
